ClickerGames.io is run by Ouaz Games. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to data when you play games on this site. Short version: we don’t ask for accounts, we don’t collect personal information, and we don’t sell anything about you.
What we do not collect
- No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, so we hold no names, email addresses or passwords.
- No payment data. Every game here is free, and we never process payments.
- No profiles. We do not build advertising profiles about individual visitors.
What is stored in your browser
A few things are saved locally on your own device using localStorage. This data never leaves your browser and we cannot read it:
- Recently played — the last games you opened, so the homepage can show them again.
- Your ratings — a marker recording which games you have already rated, so the star widget knows not to ask twice.
- Game saves — most clicker games save your progress in your browser. Clearing your browser data will erase that progress.
You can delete all of it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for clickergames.io.
Game ratings
When you rate a game, your score is sent to our database and added to that game’s running average. We store only the game name, the total number of votes and the total score — no identifiers, no IP addresses, nothing that could be traced back to you.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and games are popular so we know what to add next. It records things like the pages visited, approximate region, browser and device type. We do not use it to identify individuals. Google’s own handling of this data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or your browser’s tracking-protection settings.
Third-party games
Many games on this site are embedded from the studios and platforms that made them. When a game loads, that provider’s own page runs inside the player frame, and it may set its own cookies or show its own ads — we have no control over that, and their privacy policy applies to what happens inside the game frame. Games hosted on our own servers do not do this.
Cookies
We do not set cookies of our own for tracking. Cookies you may encounter come from Google Analytics and from embedded game providers, as described above. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser will not stop the site from working, though a few embedded games may behave differently.
Children
ClickerGames.io is a general-audience games site with no accounts, no chat and no user-generated content. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Parents and guardians can read more on our information for parents page.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on request. If you believe otherwise, or you want something on this site removed, contact us and we will look into it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
